About the role

Babcock is looking for a Site & Materials Coordinator for its Henderson Australian Marine Complex, a permanent full-time position reporting to the Production Manager. The role supports production activities and the management and accountability of subcontractor materials for Babcock's repair and maintenance work on the ANZAC Class Frigate Ships.

Key responsibilities

  • Work closely with the production team in planning and mobilising equipment to allocated sites.
  • Assist the Production Team with the procurement of materials.
  • Keep materials registers up to date.
  • Work with the contractor supply chain to mobilise materials to and from Babcock warehouses as needed.

Required profile

  • Experience with MILIS and SAP, with strong computer literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card).
  • Current motor vehicle driver's licence and current forklift licence.
  • Eligible to obtain an Australia Defence Security Clearance (NV1).
