Site Manager – Residential Construction

About the role

A well‑established privately owned residential builder is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a variety of residential builds across Melbourne’s western suburbs. This is a permanent, onsite position focused on delivering quality homes efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential builds from start through to completion and handover.
• Coordinate and manage multiple trades and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and meeting key milestones.
• Conduct regular site meetings, inspections and progress reporting while maintaining safety and OH&S compliance.
• Identify and resolve construction issues quickly to keep projects on time and within budget.

Required profile

• Trade qualified, with carpentry experience highly regarded.
• Proven experience as a Site Manager, Site Supervisor or Senior Supervisor in residential construction.
• Strong understanding of residential construction processes, sequencing and building standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain build momentum.
