Site Manager - Fuel and Convenience Store, Port Augusta

About the role

The Agostino Group, a South Australian owned company with 20 AMPM Fuel & Convenience stores across metropolitan and regional South Australia, is looking for a full-time Site Manager to lead its new AMPM store in Port Augusta. The role takes ownership of day-to-day operations, leads the team to deliver excellent customer experiences and drive operational performance, and suits someone who enjoys being on the floor, motivating staff and solving problems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the team, and recruit, train and roster staff
• Drive customer service standards and store presentation
• Manage stock control and stocktakes
• Oversee cash handling, invoicing and store budgets
• Ensure workplace health and safety compliance
• Support continuous improvement and operational excellence
• Work weekends, two days off during the week, and public holidays are expected

Required profile

• Experience in retail management, fuel and convenience, hospitality or fast food in high-volume environments
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• A hands-on, team-first attitude
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
• Passion for customer service and team development
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
