Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead a $10M education construction project in Melbourne’s West. The role offers a balanced schedule with RDOs and minimal weekend work, allowing you to focus on delivering quality builds while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site activities for the education build, ensuring delivery within scope, budget and timeline.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors to achieve high‑quality outcomes without over‑working the team.
• Maintain site safety standards and ensure compliance with induction and safety technology systems.
• Utilise site administration tools to streamline paperwork, reporting and communication.
• Provide regular updates to Directors and Project Managers while preserving autonomy on‑site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering commercial construction projects of similar size and complexity.
• Experience in the education construction sector is highly regarded.
• Strong ability to manage subcontractors, timelines and site safety.
• Commitment to a balanced work schedule with RDOs and limited weekend work.

Required skills

• Experience with construction safety and site administration technology.
