Site Manager - 100+ Townhouse Development

About the role

A well-established Queensland construction business is looking for an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for a major 100+ townhouse development in Southport. It is a genuine start-to-finish opportunity, with the successful candidate overseeing the project from early works through to completion and handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the project from commencement through to completion
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and trades
• Manage daily site operations, programming and sequencing
• Ensure quality, safety and programme requirements are met
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Contracts Administrators and consultants
• Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve site issues
• Monitor progress against programme and key milestones
• Run site meetings and maintain strong stakeholder communication
• Deliver the project to a high standard through to final handover

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Manager on large townhouse or residential projects
• Experience managing projects from start to finish
• Strong knowledge of construction methodology, programming and site management
• Ability to lead large teams and coordinate multiple trades
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach
• Strong focus on safety, quality and programme delivery
• Experience delivering large-scale townhouse developments is highly regarded
