Site Contracts Negotiator I

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a Site Contracts Negotiator I in Sydney, you will support the review and negotiation of clinical trial agreements and budgets under the guidance of senior colleagues, helping ensure contracts are executed accurately and efficiently so studies can start on time.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review site contracts using approved templates, under supervision from senior team members or leads.
• Support contract and budget negotiations with sites, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Track contract status, timelines and key milestones in designated systems and trackers.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather information and agree on contract terms.
• Ensure contract documentation is complete, accurate and filed according to SOPs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the site contracts team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law, business, life sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Initial experience in contracts, legal support, clinical research or administration is preferred.
• Basic understanding of contract terms and interest in developing negotiation skills.
• Willingness to learn site contracting processes, systems and industry requirements.
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based.
