Settlement Accountant

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing logistics and supply‑chain business, is expanding its finance team. The Settlement Accountant will manage daily settlement operations, reconcile accounts, and support month‑end financial reporting across warehousing, transportation and e‑commerce fulfilment activities.

Key responsibilities

• Process daily settlements, including customer billing, partner payouts and supplier reconciliations.
• Perform regular account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Track outstanding balances, follow up on unresolved items and maintain supporting documentation.
• Prepare settlement reports, reconciliation schedules and assist with month‑end closing.
• Analyse settlement data to identify operational issues and suggest improvements.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and contribute to finance process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in accounting, settlement, reconciliation or finance operations.
• Experience in logistics, supply‑chain or e‑commerce environments is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Mandarin language skills are advantageous but not essential.
• CPA/CA studies or progress towards qualification is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for data analysis and reconciliation.
