Sessional Lecturer – Social Work (Sydney)

About the role
We are seeking passionate and dedicated lecturers to join our Social Work program in Sydney. The position can be taken as a sessional or full‑time appointment, offering flexible morning, afternoon or evening shifts at our Haymarket campus, a short walk from Central Station.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver engaging face‑to‑face and online learning sessions using Ikon’s provided materials.
- Assess student work, provide feedback within two weeks, and use the online comparison and AI detection tools supplied.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of teaching resources and learning design.
- Facilitate student engagement, monitor attendance, and communicate student issues to relevant Ikon teams.
- Participate in subject review, moderation and academic integrity processes.
Required profile
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience or interest in facilitating both on‑campus and digital learning environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive academic team.
- Commitment to high‑quality teaching and student outcomes.
