Services Engineer

About the role

BESIX Watpac is seeking an experienced Services Engineer to lead the design, coordination, installation and commissioning of building services on a large‑scale project in South Australia.

Key responsibilities

• Drive safety policies and ensure compliance with OH&S legislation.
• Manage design documentation packages covering Mechanical, Electrical, Security, ICT and Hydraulic services.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to align documentation with specifications, budgets and programme.
• Oversee coordination and review of design inputs and select subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality and commissioning of services and support final handover.

Required profile

• Qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical or Hydraulic engineering.
• Proven experience on large‑scale projects managing complex building services packages.
• Strong knowledge of OHS Act, Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
