Service Technician

About the role

Konecranes is looking for a fully qualified electrician to join its Service team in Export Park, South Australia. The role involves providing inspection, minor repair, and field modernisation services on a variety of standard crane models, as well as responding to emergency breakdowns.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out basic inspection services on various makes and models of standard cranes.
• Perform minor repairs, field modernisations, and small installation jobs on standard equipment.
• Identify and source parts using the technician price guide.
• Attend emergency breakdowns, diagnose faults, and execute repairs on site.
• Collaborate with local support functions and master technicians as needed.

Required profile

• Current and valid driver licence.
• Full electrical licence.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a global company.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

Required skills

• Electrical systems knowledge and troubleshooting.
• Crane inspection and repair techniques.
• Working at heights competency.
• Elevated work platform operation ticket.
• Understanding of Australian Standards and safety procedures.
