Service Technician - Industrial Refrigeration

About the role

Join Gordon Brothers Industries, Australia’s largest industrial refrigeration company, as a Service Technician based in Brisbane. You will maintain and service large‑scale refrigeration systems across diverse customer sites, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and breakdown service work on industrial refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults to minimise downtime.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Build strong relationships with customers and provide technical advice when required.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Contribute to a positive safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Qualified Refrigeration Mechanic or equivalent industry experience.
• Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence.
• Restricted Electrical Licence.
• Experience working on industrial refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
