About the role
AVEC is seeking a Service Delivery Manager to own end‑to‑end delivery of Project Services under an outcome‑based model. Key responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day management of approved project services, overseeing outcomes, deliverables, risks, dependencies, quality and acceptance criteria.
- Control delivery against agreed outcomes rather than resource inputs, aligning tasking, plans and reporting with scope and funding.
- Coordinate demand intake, sequencing, capacity visibility and delivery readiness, escalating constraints through governance channels.
- Establish and run governance cadence covering progress, service health, financials, risks, dependencies and forward planning.
- Support development and ongoing management of delivery plans, schedules, acceptance measures and transition activities for authorised work packages.
- Manage forecasts, margins, invoicing, cost controls and workforce plans to maintain commercial sustainability.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams (architecture, engineering, analysis, testing, assurance) through clear expectations, coaching and workload management.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, communicate clearly, influence decisions and manage expectations.
- Maintain visibility of delivery risks, issues and dependencies, ensuring timely mitigation, escalation and resolution.
- Identify and implement practical improvements to service catalogues, templates, tools, reporting and knowledge management.
Required profile
- Proven experience in service delivery or project services management within a technology consultancy or similar environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent client‑facing abilities, capable of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Solid commercial acumen, including forecasting, margin management and cost control.
- Demonstrated capability to manage governance processes, risk visibility and continuous improvement initiatives.
