Service Configuration Management (SCM) Consultant

About the role

Accenture is looking for an experienced Service Configuration Management (SCM) Consultant to join its Enterprise Service Management team in Melbourne. You will design, implement and continuously improve SCM processes across a multi‑vendor environment, ensuring accurate configuration data and supporting effective service management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and operate end‑to‑end Service Configuration Management processes.
• Maintain accurate CI data and relationships within the ServiceNow CMDB.
• Monitor and improve CMDB data quality, integrity and compliance.
• Support ServiceNow Discovery and related platform capabilities.
• Integrate configuration data from multiple sources and optimise CMDB performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in IT Service Management, Configuration Management and CMDB governance.
• Hands‑on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery in large, complex enterprise environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work with technical teams and service providers.
• Australian citizenship with an active security clearance.
