Service Account Manager – Security Services

About the role

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced Service Account Manager to lead its Brisbane Security Service Team. You will partner with the Branch Manager to drive service delivery excellence, develop technical talent, and ensure commercial success across critical infrastructure customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of security service technicians.
• Drive operational performance, meeting service delivery and financial KPIs.
• Manage maintenance contract schedules, backlog reduction and service execution.
• Conduct customer reviews, identify improvement opportunities and oversee contract renewals.
• Plan workforce, allocate resources and monitor labour and material costs.
• Support technician growth through coaching, training and performance management.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in security, building services or related technical services.
• Proven experience in service operations, maintenance or field services.
• Leadership or supervisory experience, or strong ambition to step into a first‑time leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage service contracts.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including Excel, PowerPoint and project‑tracking tools.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to obtain relevant security clearances.
