Senior Wellbeing & Safety Specialist

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Wellbeing & Safety Specialist to lead risk‑management and wellbeing initiatives across its Australian operations and support the global strategy. You will work closely with the Wellbeing & Safety Manager and senior leadership to create safe, healthy workplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and specialist advice on physical and psychosocial risk management.
• Develop, implement and monitor targeted interventions to mitigate wellbeing and safety risks.
• Support and guide the Australian Wellbeing & Safety team and act as a trusted information source for senior leaders.
• Maintain and continuously improve the Global Wellbeing & Safety Management System.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to embed proactive risk‑management practices.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in workplace wellbeing, health and safety.
• Strong understanding of risk‑management frameworks and psychosocial risk.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and work in a complex business environment.
• Experience supporting both local and global wellbeing & safety initiatives.
