Senior UI/UX Designer

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of modern, user‑centred digital experiences across its global ecosystem. Based in South Melbourne, you will shape the visual and interaction language of both legacy platforms and new products, ensuring they are intuitive, contemporary, and aligned with the company’s sustainability mission.

Key responsibilities

• Create high‑fidelity wireframes, prototypes, journey maps, UX flows, and interaction patterns for existing and new digital solutions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Managers, and development teams to define experiences that meet user needs and business goals.
• Develop and maintain a modern design system to guarantee consistent UI patterns across all platforms.
• Validate concepts through usability testing, user research, rapid prototyping, and iterative refinement.
• Oversee design quality during development, conduct design reviews, and ensure accurate implementation of specifications.
• Provide strategic UX input for planning, sprint activities, and product roadmap development.
• Support rollout, adoption, and user training for new features.
• Mentor junior designers and promote user‑centred design thinking across the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in end‑to‑end UX/UI design for complex digital ecosystems.
• Strong collaboration skills with BAs, PMs, developers, and business leaders.
• Advanced problem‑solving and design‑thinking abilities, using research and testing to drive high‑quality outcomes.
