Senior Training Manager

About the role

Lead the Maintenance Training Organisation in a highly regulated defence aviation environment, overseeing training delivery for PC-21 and B300 programs across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own the MTO training framework ensuring compliance with DASR, EASA, CASA and company standards.
• Manage the Maintenance Training Organisation Exposition, Training & Certification Plan and approved Part 145/147 training packages.
• Develop training assessment strategies, courseware and deliver training where required.
• Lead, mentor and coach instructional staff across locations, identifying capability gaps and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with Quality and Aviation Safety teams to address training shortfalls and ensure safe, consistent delivery.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or equivalent) and Certificate IV in Aeroskills – Mechanical or Avionics.
• Minimum 5 years aviation experience with demonstrated training and assessment expertise.
• Strong knowledge of Part 145 and Part 147 requirements in civil or military aviation.
• Australian citizenship and ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
