Senior Technical Account Manager (APAC)

About the role

The Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) partners with Semgrep’s most important customers across APAC, driving implementation, adoption, and growth of the platform. You will create personalized success plans, de‑escalate urgent issues, and act as the voice of the customer for product improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Host monthly check‑ins with customers to understand successes and challenges.
• Create and execute personalized success plans to grow platform value.
• Partner with Sales to deliver executive business reviews for practitioners and executive buyers.
• Collaborate with Tech Support to resolve bug tickets and with Product to submit feature requests.
• Advocate for customers on the product roadmap and evolve best‑practice service delivery.
• Contribute to documentation that expands product usage information.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a customer‑facing role, preferably as a Technical Account Manager, Account Manager, or Product Manager for a technical product.
• Deep understanding of developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and source‑control systems.
• Strategic thinker with strong customer empathy and executive‑level communication skills.
• Familiarity with Web Application Security concepts, including the OWASP Top 10.
• Background or genuine interest in DevSecOps/AppSec and a technical degree.

Required skills

• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab, CircleCI, Jenkins, Buildkite.
• Source‑control systems: Git, SVN, Perforce.
• Web Application Security knowledge (OWASP Top 10).
