Senior Teacher – English (Perth Campus)

About the role

EF Language Abroad is seeking a driven Senior Teacher for its Perth campus. This role blends classroom teaching with academic administration and curriculum development, offering a clear pathway to senior leadership positions within the school.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English classes across all proficiency levels and provide coverage as needed.
• Manage academic administration including student placement, class allocation, progress tracking and timetable planning.
• Develop and refine curriculum materials and lesson plans.
• Build supportive relationships with students to enhance their learning experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to support student success.
• Provide flexible support during peak periods, special circumstances or emergencies.

Required profile

• CELTA (or equivalent) with six observation hours, or working towards TEFLQ status.
• Bachelor’s degree in Teaching, Education or a related field.
• Ability to balance teaching duties with administrative responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Student‑first mindset and adaptability in a dynamic, international environment.
