Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor - Allied Health & NDIS

About the role

Avina, a national allied health and behaviour support organisation serving communities across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia, is looking for an experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor to join its People & Culture team. This is a remote, permanent full-time role with an initial strong focus on hands-on recruitment across the clinical workforce, managing end-to-end recruitment across multiple states and disciplines.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across allied health, operational and corporate roles, and proactively source and engage candidates in hard-to-fill disciplines and locations.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand vacancies, priorities and workforce needs, then screen, interview and manage candidates through to offer.
• Build and maintain talent pools across key disciplines and regions, and create engaging job advertising and candidate communications.
• Maintain recruitment systems, pipelines and reporting, and provide leaders with market insights and recruitment advice.
• Support graduate recruitment, university engagement and other talent initiatives, ensuring processes meet NDIS and workforce compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Previous allied health and NDIS recruitment experience is essential.
• Strong end-to-end recruitment experience, ideally in a senior TA or recruitment role.
• Good understanding of allied health disciplines and the NDIS talent market.
• Experience managing multiple vacancies and competing priorities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while staying connected with the wider team.
• Advantageous: graduate recruitment, university engagement, workforce planning or employer branding experience.

• Proactive sourcing and confidence engaging passive candidates.
• ATS and sourcing platforms, with JobAdder and Employment Hero experience highly regarded.
• Stakeholder management and candidate communication.
