Senior Speech Pathologist (Part-Time)

About the role

Early Start Australia, part of the APM Group, is hiring a Senior Speech Pathologist in Hindmarsh. You will join a transdisciplinary clinical team and deliver evidence-based assessments and therapy to a mixed paediatric caseload, supporting children with developmental delays and/or disabilities through tailored therapy programs and Early Childhood Early Intervention. Work takes place across the clinic, client homes, schools and via telehealth, with support from an efficient administration team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based assessments and therapy to a mixed paediatric caseload
• Support children with developmental delays and/or disabilities through tailored therapy programs
• Partner with families to help each child reach their individual goals
• Work across the clinic, client homes, schools and via telehealth

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
• Experience working with children and/or individuals with disability
• Confidence in supporting children and partnering with families

Required skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment
• Comprehensive clinical feeding assessment and therapy, including differentiating feeding skill from swallowing impairment and addressing sensory feeding difficulties
