Senior Speech Pathologist - ASD Clinic

About the role

Goulburn Valley Health is recruiting a Senior Speech Pathologist for its Neurodevelopmental Psychiatry Clinic (NPC), part of the Infant, Child and Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service. The clinic is a multidisciplinary team focused mainly on autism assessments when there is a diagnostic dilemma, and is looking for an experienced speech pathologist passionate about working with children with neurodevelopmental disorders. The role involves speech pathology assessments and taking part in multidisciplinary team discussions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide speech pathology assessments for children with neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorder.
• Take part in multidisciplinary team discussions.

Required profile

• Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia as a Speech Pathologist.
• Knowledge and aptitude in neurodevelopmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorder.
• Sound knowledge of child development, with particular emphasis on communication skills.
