About the role
The Senior Software Engineer will drive high‑quality development and technical direction for Domain’s Residential Consumer web teams, building scalable, performant user interfaces using React, TypeScript and Next.js.
Key responsibilities
- Own the full lifecycle of medium‑sized projects, from design through production and ongoing improvements.
- Architect solutions with scalability, performance, security and maintainability in mind, contributing to domain‑wide standards.
- Write, co‑write and review clear, tested code and documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Deep expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript and Next.js.
- Experience designing high‑scale, high‑traffic web applications.
Required skills
- ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js, GraphQL.
- Micro‑frontends, SPA, Server‑Side Rendering.
- AWS services (ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch), Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure‑as‑Code.
- DevOps practices, Agile methodology, OWASP security knowledge.
