Senior Software Engineer

About the role

This is a hands‑on engineering position within a fast‑growing digital health startup. You will own problems end‑to‑end, from understanding user needs to designing, building, and deploying solutions across mobile, web, and backend systems, while heavily leveraging AI tools in your workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship features for mobile, web, and backend platforms.
• Take ownership of product ideas through to deployment.
• Design systems, APIs, and databases.
• Develop using React Native, modern web tools, and backend services.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and data teams.
• Utilise AI tools to boost development productivity.
• Adapt quickly in a fast‑moving startup environment with shifting priorities.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior software engineer with strong TypeScript, Node.js, and React experience.
• Proven ability to work across frontend, backend, and cloud environments.
• Comfortable handling architecture, databases, APIs, and UI development.
• Startup mindset – self‑directed, ownership‑focused, and adaptable.
• Proficient with AI‑assisted development tools.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented personality who thrives in fast‑paced settings.
