Senior Software Engineer – Contract (Legal & Regulatory)

About the role

We are seeking a senior software engineer on a contract basis to design and deliver custom software solutions that meet strict legal and regulatory requirements. The role focuses on building secure, compliant applications that support lawful interception and related network‑integrated systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software solutions aligned with legal and regulatory mandates.
• Translate compliance requirements into technical implementations and architecture.
• Collaborate with network and engineering teams to support Lawful Interception (LI) and specialized telecom systems.
• Ensure all code adheres to security, audit, and compliance standards.
• Develop, test, and deploy high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Participate in solution architecture, system integration, and performance optimisation.
• Provide ongoing enhancements, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of applications.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering software solutions in regulated environments such as telecom, government or security.
• Strong background in software development and system design.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
