Senior Software DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on SITA's Borders team, you will design and operate modern CI/CD pipelines and cloud/on‑premise infrastructure that power critical border‑control solutions for the aviation industry.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps and related tools.
• Build and manage cloud or on‑premise environments with IaC tools such as Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation.
• Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, scalability and cost‑efficiency.
• Lead and mentor junior DevOps engineers, fostering best‑practice adoption.
• Integrate DevSecOps practices, enforce compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with development, QA and operations teams to streamline workflows.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience supporting mission‑critical Linux‑based deployments.
• Strong ownership mindset and systematic problem‑solving approach.
• Experience with enterprise data‑center technologies, networking fundamentals and security concepts.
