Senior Section Waitstaff – High-End Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Section Waitstaff to join our high‑end restaurant team in Melbourne’s CBD. You will play a pivotal role in delivering a best‑in‑class dining experience for guests in a fast‑paced, modern French‑inspired environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide attentive, knowledgeable service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
• Carry and set up to three plates per service, maintaining immaculate presentation.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate orders and timing.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and exceed expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized section and adhere to health, safety, and RSA compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Section Waitstaff in a premium, high‑end venue.
• Strong passion and knowledge of food and wine.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and multitasking abilities.
• Adaptable, detail‑oriented, and able to work rotating rosters including opening, closing, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid RSA certificate.
• Outgoing personality with a “can‑do” attitude.
