Senior Research Fellow - Aged Care Research

About the role

Bolton Clarke, one of Australia's largest independent not-for-profit providers of home care, retirement living and residential aged care, is seeking an experienced Senior Research Fellow for its Research Institute. The role leads a portfolio of applied research, evaluation and implementation projects, driving evidence-based improvement across aged care, home care and retirement living.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of strategic research and evaluation programs aligned to organisational priorities
• Oversee multiple research projects and workstreams, ensuring quality, rigour and timely delivery
• Translate research findings into practical recommendations for policy, practice and service improvement
• Build partnerships with academic, clinical, government and industry stakeholders
• Lead the preparation of publications, reports, presentations and knowledge translation resources
• Contribute to research funding opportunities, grant applications and strategic partnerships
• Mentor researchers, research officers and emerging research leaders
• Communicate complex evidence to clinical, operational and executive audiences and influence strategic decisions

Required profile

• PhD in a relevant discipline
• Significant experience leading applied research, evaluation and implementation programs
• Experience in health, aged care, community care or related sectors
• Proven ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholder groups
• People leadership experience, including mentoring and capability development

Required skills

• Strong expertise in implementation science and evidence translation
• Publication, grant writing and research funding experience
• Exceptional written, presentation and communication skills
