Senior Recruitment Consultant – Technology Desk

About the role

HorizonOne is looking for a senior recruitment consultant to lead and grow a technology desk. You will own your client portfolio, develop new business and deliver permanent, contract and labour‑hire placements across government and private sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, win and grow technology clients through proactive business development.
• Use data on hiring trends and pipeline to focus effort and increase revenue.
• Leverage BuyICT roles as a foundation while expanding into direct and permanent business.
• Deliver high‑quality permanent, contract and labour‑hire placements using detailed briefs and strong talent networks.
• Manage and purposefully grow a contractor book.

Required profile

• Proven track record in technology recruitment, preferably in Canberra.
• Demonstrated ability to win new business and grow existing accounts.
• Understanding of Commonwealth procurement and the BuyICT platform.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
