Senior React Native Mobile Engineer – IoT

About the role

We are seeking a senior React Native engineer to lead the evolution of our IoT mobile application suite. You will modernise a web‑based mobile experience, add native capabilities, and enable seamless Bluetooth communication with physical devices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement native features such as Face ID, fingerprint login, custom splash screens and in‑app notifications.
• Wrap the existing web application in a robust mobile container for distribution on iOS and Android stores.
• Integrate and test connectivity options including Bluetooth, satellite and 4G.
• Manage end‑to‑end app store releases for Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Mentor internal developers and share React Native best practices.
• Contribute to customer‑facing web store initiatives when mobile cycles allow.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who takes ownership without waiting for direction.
• Strong commercial experience delivering React Native mobile applications.
• Proven track record of independently handling app store submissions.
• Background in start‑up, scale‑up or consultancy environments is a plus.
• Interest or experience connecting mobile apps to physical hardware is desirable.
