Senior Project Manager – Superannuation Transformation

About the role

The Senior Project Manager will lead the delivery of major superannuation technology and business transformation initiatives for a Sydney‑based organisation. Working in a hybrid setting, you will ensure projects stay on schedule, within budget and meet regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of implementations, from planning through operational handover.
• Drive project governance, reporting, risk management and financial control.
• Manage internal stakeholders, executive sponsors and third‑party vendors.
• Lead cross‑functional teams across business and technology functions.
• Produce executive and Steering Committee reports to provide clear visibility of project health, milestones and risks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise‑wide technology or business transformation programmes.
• Extensive experience in the superannuation industry, with a solid understanding of its regulatory landscape, vendors and governance frameworks.
• Proven track record of managing regulatory or compliance‑driven initiatives.
• Strong vendor management and third‑party delivery experience.
• Demonstrated financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and benefits tracking.
