Senior Project Manager – Networks & Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead strategic networking and infrastructure programmes for a large enterprise in Brisbane. The role will oversee end‑to‑end delivery, working with internal technical teams, senior business stakeholders and external vendors while ensuring strong governance of scope, schedule, budget and risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead network infrastructure projects from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.
• Manage project governance, reporting, risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate internal technical teams and third‑party vendors.
• Build strong relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders.
• Facilitate steering committees and executive reporting.
• Manage project financials, forecasting and change control.
• Monitor delivery progress and proactively address risks.
• Support a smooth transition into business‑as‑usual operations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience operating at Senior Project Manager level.
• Proven delivery experience across network infrastructure initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise networking environments.
• Formal project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills.
• Experience managing technical delivery teams and multiple vendors.
• Strong financial, schedule, risk and issue management capability.
• Ability to operate autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Experience working across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
