Senior Project Manager – Digital Transformation (Fixed-Term)

About the role

As a Senior Project Manager within a large public‑sector organisation, you will lead multiple strategic technology and business transformation programmes over a two‑year fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Digital Transformation leadership team, you will ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and generate measurable benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, govern and deliver concurrent technology projects from initiation through to benefits realization.
• Manage budgets, schedules, risks, issues and dependencies across a diverse portfolio.
• Engage and influence senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Oversee procurement, vendor and implementation‑partner relationships.
• Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering, solution design and delivery.
• Lead testing, training, cut‑over planning and go‑live activities.
• Prepare executive reports, steering‑committee updates and comprehensive project documentation.
• Drive organisational change, adoption and benefits realisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering complex digital and technology transformation projects in large, complex organisations.
• Strong end‑to‑end project management capability covering scope, schedule, budget, risk and governance.
• Extensive experience with enterprise platforms such as ERP, HRIS, finance or customer‑facing systems.
• Demonstrated vendor, procurement and implementation‑partner management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and executive‑level communication.
• Experience in public‑sector, government or similarly regulated environments is highly regarded.
