Senior Project Manager – Aviation Projects

About the role

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of aviation infrastructure and construction projects in Sydney. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, compliant outcomes while minimising impact on airport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage projects through the full lifecycle, delivering scope, schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Define project scope, prepare business cases and support funding and approval processes.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to manage requirements, approvals and operational constraints.
• Lead consultant and contractor procurement, contract administration, change management and commercial oversight.
• Oversee site activities, manage project risks and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering construction and infrastructure projects, preferably within the aviation sector.
• Sound knowledge of Australian building regulations, relevant standards and aviation industry requirements.
• Demonstrated capability in contract administration, contractor management, procurement and commercial management.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications.
