Senior Project Manager – AI & Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large‑scale AI and infrastructure deployment programmes across multiple sites and regions. This 12‑month contract role is based in Melbourne and will drive end‑to‑end delivery of complex technology projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, baselines and resource allocations.
• Establish governance processes, reporting structures and project controls.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, business leaders, technical teams, vendors and external partners.
• Communicate progress, risks and issues to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, costs and financial reporting.
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, issues and change requests.
• Lead cross‑functional, geographically dispersed teams and mentor junior project staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise technology or network environments.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale infrastructure programmes across 100+ locations globally.
• Experience in customer‑facing or professional services environments.
• Strong financial, commercial and stakeholder management capabilities.
