Senior Project Coordinator

About the role

TAFE Queensland SkillsTech is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join the Business Development and Marketing team within Commercial Services. Based at the Acacia Ridge campus, you will coordinate and support the implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of strategic projects and funded programmes across SkillsTech and the wider Commercial Services portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the delivery of region‑based and statewide strategic projects and funded programmes.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with internal TAFE Queensland stakeholders and external partners, including government agencies and industry partners.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, funding requirements and project deliverables by monitoring performance against KPIs and milestones.
• Track programme expenditure, financial performance and outcomes against budget, maximising contract value.
• Identify, assess and monitor risks, escalating issues and supporting mitigation strategies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and briefings aligned with strategic objectives, including analysis for governance and decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination, contract and funding administration, and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical ability to monitor performance, financials and risks.
• Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
• Demonstrated commitment to TAFE Queensland values and a safety‑first workplace culture.
