Senior Procurement Officer

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join the Malabar Systems Alliance project in Parramatta. In this strategic, hands‑on position you will partner with internal teams and suppliers to secure high‑quality goods and services that meet the project’s value, timing, and risk requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement strategies across multiple categories and manage the full procurement lifecycle.
• Source, tender, evaluate, negotiate, contract and onboard suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure business continuity and long‑term value.
• Collaborate with operational, technical and commercial teams to forecast demand and define procurement needs.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
• Monitor supplier performance through regular reviews and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools and reporting.
• Provide commercial insights to support budgeting and cost forecasting.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, strategic sourcing or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into procurement strategies.
• Understanding of procurement governance, risk management and compliance.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with a focus on process optimisation.
