Senior Pharmacist

About the role

Darling Downs Health is looking for a Senior Pharmacist in Toowoomba. The role combines advanced clinical practice, leadership and collaboration to improve patient outcomes and support a healthcare service that reaches communities across the region. You will mentor emerging clinicians and help shape better ways of delivering care.

Key responsibilities

• Improve patient outcomes through expert medication management and advanced clinical decision-making
• Build trusted relationships with patients, carers and healthcare teams to support safe, coordinated care
• Lead quality improvements that enhance services and strengthen outcomes
• Coach, mentor and support colleagues, students and emerging professionals

Required profile

• Current registration as a Pharmacist with AHPRA
• Advanced clinical pharmacy knowledge and experience delivering patient-centred care
• Postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualifications and experience mentoring, supervising or developing other healthcare professionals (a plus)

Required skills

• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across multidisciplinary teams
• Proactive approach to leadership, service improvement and evidence-based practice
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
