Senior Occupational Therapist (Integrated Care Services) - Bundaberg

About the role

Bundaberg Hospital in the Wide Bay region of Queensland is recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist for its Integrated Care Services. The therapist delivers high-level occupational therapy clinical services and works autonomously within a multidisciplinary team to provide responsive, flexible care in both acute and community settings. The role focuses on preventing inappropriate and avoidable admissions by supporting patients, their families and significant others through the transition from acute care back to the home.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-level occupational therapy clinical services and professional expertise within Integrated Care Services, Bundaberg.
• Work autonomously within the multidisciplinary Integrated Care team to manage, coordinate and provide occupational therapy services in acute and community settings.
• Support patients, their families and significant others through the transition from an acute care environment to the home setting, helping prevent avoidable admissions.

• Salary of $132,690 to $142,317 per year, with total remuneration up to $162,378 p.a. (HP4 classification).
