About the role
Datacom is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Developer for an initial 6‑month rolling contract. The role is based in either Auckland or Melbourne and involves delivering enterprise‑scale integration projects using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and deploy MuleSoft integration solutions and APIs.
- Collaborate with Solution Architects on technical design and end‑to‑end delivery.
- Participate in technical and solution discussions with customers and internal teams.
- Implement SOA, ESB, API and micro‑services architectures, using RAML and Swagger for API modelling.
- Support event‑driven integration with Solace, Kafka and Anypoint MQ.
- Contribute to DevOps, CI/CD, testing and deployment practices.
Required profile
- Strong hands‑on MuleSoft development experience with the Anypoint Platform.
- Proven ability to own end‑to‑end delivery in complex environments.
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
