Senior Marketing Manager - Cards Acquisition (12 Month Contract)

About the role

CommBank's Consumer Marketing team, a Centre of Excellence within Marketing and Corporate Affairs, is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager for its Cards Acquisition role. This is a 12-month fixed-term position based in the Sydney CBD area, reporting directly to the Executive Manager, Consumer Finance Marketing. The team is described as fast-paced, with a strong foundation in digital, data and innovative tools.

Key responsibilities

• Build the go-to-market strategy for a new card proposition, focused on customer acquisition and engagement
• Generate and use customer insights to identify strategic customer challenges and opportunities, shaping simple customer value propositions
• Partner across product portfolios to integrate customer strategies and initiatives
• Work with cross-functional agile teams to deliver go-to-market plans and continuously test and iterate
• Lead holistic reporting by product line, covering business results, key learnings and next steps

Required profile

• Deep knowledge and experience in credit cards and/or financial services as a marketer or product owner
• Experience designing go-to-market strategies with an optimal channel media mix
• Insight-driven, able to use data to tell stories and connect activity to business opportunities
• Strong stakeholder management across product, data and analytics and digital
• Understanding of ROI/ROMI and campaign metrics
• People leader experience, as the role manages 1 direct report
• 8+ years in consumer finance marketing preferred
