Senior Manager - Tech, Data & Information Security CoE

About the role

ANZ is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Technology, Data & Information Security Centre of Excellence within Group Operations. In this highly visible role you will act as a trusted first‑line risk partner, providing expert guidance on risk assessments, regulatory change, control design and governance across critical technology and data domains.

Key responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive risk assessments for technology, data and information security, identifying emerging and existing exposures.
• Partner with business leaders to embed robust risk and control frameworks into processes, systems and data.
• Oversee the impact of regulatory and policy changes, coordinating assessments and supporting implementation of compliance requirements.
• Deliver insightful risk reporting and analysis to governance forums, influencing strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with senior business leaders, risk teams and other Centres of Excellence to improve control environments and foster a strong risk culture.

Required profile

• Significant experience in technology, data or information security risk management within a large, regulated organisation.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive risk‑focused outcomes.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best‑practice control design.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a track record of delivering clear risk insights.
