Senior Manager, Quality Assurance

About the role

KBR is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Quality Assurance to provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and functional direction across its Quality organisation. The role ensures quality systems, processes, and practices support safe, reliable, compliant, and high‑performing delivery outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide senior functional leadership across quality disciplines, teams, and operational areas to deliver business and customer outcomes.
• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of quality systems, processes, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Ensure quality practices align with business objectives, contractual requirements, regulatory obligations, and product performance expectations.
• Act as technical authority for audits, inspections, testing, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Analyse quality performance data to identify trends, systemic risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Drive consistency of quality practices across multiple functions, product lines, and operational environments.

Required profile

• Undergraduate qualification in Quality, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
• 12+ years of Quality Management experience with leadership of managers or senior technical professionals.
• Proven ability to lead multiple quality disciplines and functional areas in a complex organisation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing, and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Quality management systems, audits, inspections, testing, and quality improvement methodologies.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt accreditation (desirable).
• Experience applying quality frameworks to contractual, regulatory, compliance, and product performance requirements.
