Senior Manager, Internal Audit Cybersecurity

About the role

The Internal Audit team at Macquarie assesses and improves the effectiveness of cyber security risk management across its global financial services business, working with teams across the organisation to provide independent assurance and support strong risk management practices. As Senior Manager, you will lead cyber security, technology and engineering audits from planning through to reporting, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and supporting the development of junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cyber security, technology and engineering audits from planning through to reporting, with a focus on key risks
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders
• Contribute to ongoing risk assessments
• Support the development of junior team members
• Work with colleagues across global and regional audit engagements

Required profile

• Deep experience in cyber security, technology risk, engineering risk or internal audit within complex organisations
• Experience using data analytics, automation and artificial intelligence to strengthen audit testing and improve assurance coverage
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CSX or similar are desirable but not essential

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of cloud computing, identity and access management, cyber resilience, infrastructure security, software development, data protection and technology operations
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, COBIT, OWASP and cloud security standards
