Senior Manager / Director, Private Enterprise Tax Advisory

About the role

Grant Thornton Australia is seeking a Senior Manager or Director with strong technical knowledge to join its Private Enterprise Tax Advisory practice. The role suits a self-driven person wanting a clear pathway to Partnership, building their own brand and using their business development skills. You will work directly with a Partner and act as a senior technical leader while mentoring the next generation of advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex advisory engagements for family business groups, high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients, family offices and private investment groups
• Advise on trust structures, estate and succession planning, cross-border taxation matters and private capital transactions
• Work with business owners, family principals, trustees, executives, lawyers, bankers and other stakeholders on complex private client issues
• Nurture the growth of the next generation of advisors

Required profile

• Qualification in Business / Commerce, Accounting or Finance, or another relevant professional or overseas qualification
• CA / CPA / CTA qualified, or other relevant industry accreditation
• Diverse business advisory experience, including private businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals, leading strategic projects
• Strong people management and leadership capabilities

• Strong Australian tax technical knowledge and experience
• Ability to collaborate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of client organisations
