About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Litigation Lawyer to join a high‑profile commercial litigation team on a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment. The role is based in Sydney and offers hybrid remote working, allowing you to manage complex, sensitive matters for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied respondent litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Oversee the full litigation lifecycle, including drafting and reviewing submissions, preparing evidence, and coordinating witnesses.
• Handle subpoena requests and ensure full compliance with procedural requirements.
• Collaborate closely with clients to develop strategy and provide clear, concise briefings to senior leaders.
• Support matter strategy and contribute to overall case management.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in litigation, dispute resolution, and handling complex disputes.
• Strong judgment and confidence in running matters end‑to‑end.
• Excellent written advocacy and client communication abilities.
• Proven experience engaging with external firms and navigating multi‑party disputes.
• Solution‑focused approach with the ability to hit the ground running.
