Senior Keycloak Developer – Distributed Authentication

About the role

As a Senior Keycloak Developer you will be a senior technical contributor delivering Keycloak configurations and extensions for a distributed authentication platform. You will work closely with the Technical Lead to design robust realms, clients, authentication flows and integrations aligned to modern OIDC/OAuth2/SAML requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Implement advanced Keycloak configurations for OIDC/OAuth2, SAML, SSO and identity brokering.
• Build Keycloak patterns suitable for multi‑site and multi‑environment deployments.
• Integrate federation sources such as LDAP and shape token/claims mapping to meet application needs.
• Implement strong authentication mechanisms including MFA and certificate‑based authentication.
• Contribute to configuration‑as‑code practices, perform peer reviews and support defect triage.
• Support operational hardening activities like secure baseline configuration, logging, audit and backup/restore testing.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in IAM or security engineering roles.
• 3+ years of hands‑on Keycloak experience.
• Strong experience with OIDC/OAuth2 and/or SAML SSO integrations.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills across authentication flows, tokens and federation.
• Current NV2 security clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week.
