Senior Journalist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Journalist to create high‑quality editorial content for our website, YouTube channel and social platforms. This hybrid role involves researching, writing, presenting on‑camera and representing the editorial team at industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write and produce editorial pieces such as reviews, comparisons, features and news.
• Present on‑camera for video formats including reviews, explainers and platform‑native content.
• Commission, edit and mentor internal writers and freelance contributors.
• Represent the editorial team at media launches, industry functions and build relationships with contacts.
• Contribute to editorial planning, content calendar and collaborate with Production and Audience Development teams.

Required profile

• Strong familiarity with automotive content through journalism, enthusiast writing or industry experience.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines across multiple formats, from breaking news to long‑form reviews.
• Comfort and confidence being filmed and presenting on‑camera.
• Experience commissioning, editing or mentoring other writers.
• Collaborative approach to working with production, video and audience teams.
