Senior Interior Designer - Workplace/Health

About the role

Hassell is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to join its Brisbane studio. You will work on a diverse portfolio of workplace and health projects, collaborating with architects, strategists and multidisciplinary teams to create innovative interior environments that improve how people live, work and connect.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and innovation.
• Develop and present compelling design concepts, material palettes and spatial strategies.
• Oversee documentation and detailing, maintaining high technical accuracy.
• Manage client relationships as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants and contractors to deliver design intent.
• Mentor junior designers and support their professional growth.
• Stay current with industry trends, materials and sustainable design practices.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in an interior design firm with a strong portfolio of workplace or health projects.
• Currently operating at Designer or Senior Designer level, leading small project teams.
• Experience with commercial workplace, hospitality or health sectors, preferably in the Australian market.
• Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent.
• Full working rights in Australia and willingness to be based in Brisbane.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with rendering tools.
