Senior Integration Architect

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Integration Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise‑scale integration solutions on Microsoft Azure for a major ANZ retailer. This is a hands‑on technical leadership position focused exclusively on integration, without people‑management duties.

Key responsibilities

• Define and govern integration standards, patterns and API design across the organisation.
• Produce high‑level and low‑level design specifications for integration solutions.
• Shape event‑driven and micro‑services architectures that connect ERP, CRM, eCommerce, supply‑chain and data platforms.
• Guide engineering teams through implementation, ensuring adherence to Azure Integration Services.
• Maintain API lifecycle management, including security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect) and governance.

Required profile

• Deep, hands‑on experience as an enterprise integration architect, not merely a solution architect with integration exposure.
• Proven track record of owning integration strategy and delivering large‑scale Azure integration projects.
• Strong background in governing API standards and integration patterns across organisations.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory.
• API design and governance: REST, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, API lifecycle management.
• Integration of complex systems: ERP, WMS, TMS, Dynamics 365, Salesforce, SAP, EDI.
• Event‑driven and micro‑services architecture design.
